Patterns for Your Walls

William Morris

The heart of this collection is William Morris, the 19th-century English designer who led the Arts and Crafts movement. His wallpapers, like the famous Fruit pattern with its pomegranates and lemons, were drawn by hand and printed with carved wooden blocks. More than 150 years later, they still feel fresh on a wall.

Geometric and Abstract

On the modern side, geometric patterns, mandalas and color-wheel prints bring order and energy, while abstract stains and watercolor squares feel looser and more playful.

Styling Patterns

A patterned poster works like a piece of wallpaper you can move. Hang one in a small space, such as a powder room, an entryway or a nook, where it can fill the eye, or pair it with plain walls and solid-colored furniture so it doesn't compete. See also our floral and botanical posters.
