A square poster for a very rectangular building.
This office tower stands perfectly centered, a block of horizontal bands stacked from bottom to top. Each band alternates between rough concrete and a strip of windows. On the roof, a few antennas and a rusty edge. At the very bottom, a hint of the street, with the top of a car.
We love its almost mechanical regularity. The building looks like a filing cabinet, or an old radio. The pale sky around it isolates the shape and gives it the presence of a portrait.
It is one of only two square formats in our brutalism architecture collection, which makes it a great choice for a gallery wall mixing formats, or above a square table.
The soft grays and white background suit bright offices and living rooms. Several sizes are available.
Office buildings were a big part of the brutalist landscape, from city halls to company headquarters. Read more about the buildings that defined the era.
