A wide view of a top heavy corner, where the concrete coffers march off in two directions at once.
The building's upper floors overhang the lower ones, so each row of boxes steps outward as it rises. From this low angle, the edges form two long diagonals that meet in a sharp point at the top. Underneath, a plain block of glass and concrete anchors the composition.
Unlike the vertical crop of a similar corner in our collection, this landscape version shows the full spread of the facade. It is calmer, more architectural, and gives a better sense of the building's scale.
We like it above a sofa, a desk or a long sideboard. Its pale gray sky and crisp shadows make it easy to match with almost any interior. Available in several sizes.
Top heavy designs like this are one of the most recognizable signatures in our brutalist architecture collection. Why did architects build them this way? Read about the ideas behind brutalism.
