Half sky, half wall. The top of the frame is pale and streaked with thin clouds. The bottom is a heavy, dark facade made of large panels and deep window bays.
Then you notice it: a tiny white cloud, caught in one of the lower windows. It is the only bright spot inside the building, and it changes the whole picture. Suddenly the wall is not just a wall, it is a mirror of the weather passing over it.
We are fond of images that reward a second look, and this is one of them. It belongs with the quieter pieces of our brutalism wall art collection, the ones that focus on texture and light rather than size.
Its tall format and soft contrast suit bedrooms, calm offices or any space where you want something strong but restful. The poster comes in several sizes.
Brutalism is often described as cold. Pictures like this one tell a different story. Read why so many people have fallen back in love with brutalist buildings.
