Three views of the Italian Riviera, painted in 1884: Bordighera, Palm Trees at Bordighera and Villas at Bordighera. This set brings them together as 3 art prints, at 20% off the price of the three posters bought separately.
In early 1884, Monet left the gray Normandy winter for Bordighera, a small town on the Italian Riviera, close to the French border. He stayed three months and was dazzled by the light, which he found almost impossible to paint, all in pinks and blues. He came back with dozens of canvases full of twisted pines, palm trees and white villas. This set brings together three of them: the old town seen through the pines above a deep blue sea, a garden of palms against the mountains, and the villas with their agaves and their tower. Stacked in a column, the trio brings warm Mediterranean light to a living room, a bedroom or a hallway.
