Dark fins in a row, like soldiers standing at attention under the clouds.
A series of tall, dark concrete fins steps down diagonally across the frame, each one topped with a small vent. Behind them, a bright sky full of swirling clouds takes up most of the image. The contrast between the heavy, regular fins and the light, chaotic sky is what makes this photo so striking.
We like the energy of the diagonal. It gives a sense of movement to a very static structure, and it leads the eye toward the clouds.
Ideal for a living room, an office or a staircase wall, this 4:5 poster will bring a dramatic touch. It looks great in a black frame. Available in several sizes.
Repetition and rhythm are recurring themes in our brutalism wall art. If you want to know more about the visual language of brutalism, read our article on the movement.
