It looks like someone stacked the floors without lining them up. Which, in a way, is exactly what happened.
Each level of this tower sticks out in a slightly different direction, so the facade becomes a pile of white slabs and dark glass. Some terraces are deep, others barely there. Seen against a plain gray sky, the building turns into a sculpture, part Jenga, part abstract composition.
This is a more recent descendant of brutalism. The material is still concrete, the geometry is still bold, but the mood is lighter. We put it in our brutalist architecture posters because it carries the same love for heavy horizontal lines.
The landscape format makes it an easy choice for a living room or a dining area, and the strong contrast stays readable from far away. Available in several sizes.
Why do architects keep coming back to these raw, chunky shapes? Our article explains why brutalism looks so good again.
