Wires everywhere, towers leaning in, bridges overhead. Welcome to a very vertical neighborhood.
Shot from the street, this image looks up at several residential towers connected by long steel footbridges. Electric cables cross the sky in all directions. The facades are covered with half round balconies, small windows and the patches and repairs of daily life.
Compared to the more frontal view of the same kind of skybridge elsewhere in our brutalism poster collection, this one is dizzier and more chaotic. The tilted perspective gives it energy and a strong sense of place.
It is a great poster for a teenager's room, a creative studio or a hallway. The tall format emphasizes the height of the towers. Available in several sizes.
Connecting buildings with walkways was a utopian idea of the 1960s and 70s. Learn more about the streets in the sky and other brutalist dreams.
