Architecture Posters

Our architecture posters are for people who look up when they walk through a city. The collection brings together four ways of seeing buildings: black and white photographs of brutalist concrete, illustrated landmarks from Paris to New York, imagined megacities from science fiction, and cathedrals and skylines built pixel by pixel. Every architecture print is made on thick archival paper, unframed or in a black metal, white oak or natural oak frame.

Architecture Wall Art, From Concrete to Cathedrals

Black and White Architecture Photography

Most of the photographs here come from Brutalist Monoliths, our series of brutalist posters: housing blocks on concrete legs, spiral ramps, coffered facades and lonely monuments in the snow. Shot in black and white, they are about structure, texture and light more than about a famous address, which makes them easy to hang in a modern interior. A pyramid that seems to float adds a more surreal monochrome note.

Landmarks and City Portraits

Some buildings are worth the trip on their own. Paris appears several times: the Eiffel Tower seen from the Seine, in soft pastels or in a retro travel-poster style, the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame redrawn in bold geometric shapes, the tower wearing the Olympic rings of Paris 2024, and Hector Guimard's Art Nouveau Metro sign, a design that has welcomed travelers underground since 1900. Elsewhere in France you will find Montpellier's Gothic cathedral, the Château des Ducs de Bretagne in Nantes, Notre-Dame de la Garde above Marseille and the stone facades of Bordeaux. Further away rise the Empire State Building in New York and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. For more destinations, browse our city posters.

Imagined Architecture and Future Cities

Other prints invent buildings that do not exist yet. Our Hiroshige Hypertech series slips glass towers and cyber skyscrapers into the composition of Japanese woodblock prints, and you will find the whole series in Japan Retro Tech. Mega Caryatids turns the classical column figure into a machine-age guardian, Celestial Factory imagines an engine hall as vast as a cathedral, and two ocean cities float between sea and sky. Cybernetic cities, a church broken into abstract shapes and a futuristic take on American industrial design complete the picture. If these visions speak to you, our science fiction posters go further.

Cathedrals and Skylines in Pixel Art

Pixel art suits architecture surprisingly well: a grid of tiny squares is already a kind of floor plan. A Gothic cathedral with pointed spires, a castle glowing under the moon and three cyberpunk Japanese cities soaked in neon rain show how far the style can go. They fit naturally in a gaming room or a teenager's bedroom, and you will find more in our pixel art posters.

How to Hang Architecture Prints

Architecture loves clean lines around it. In a living room, one large print above the sofa gives the wall a strong focal point; in a hallway, a row of three buildings in the same size reads like a series of windows onto different cities. In a study, black and white facades bring structure without distraction, which is why several of them also appear in our office wall art. Mixing eras works well too: a Gothic cathedral next to a concrete tower tells a story about how we build.

Which Size and Frame?

  • Above a sofa or a bed: a 70 x 50 cm (28 x 20 in) or 100 x 70 cm (39 x 28 in) print, or two smaller prints side by side.
  • Desk, shelf or narrow wall: 21 x 30 cm (8 x 12 in) or 30 x 40 cm (12 x 16 in), hung or simply leaning.
  • Gallery wall: three to six prints in the same frame, with 5 to 8 cm (2 to 3 in) between them.
  • Frames: black metal, premium white oak or premium natural oak. You only pay for the frame, the framing itself is free.

Every poster is printed on thick archival paper by the print partner closest to you.
